Rest In Peace

No matter what medicine we take, no matter the health drink, the loyalty to an exercise regime or the amount of power and wealth we accumulate, that day will come.
The day will inevitably come where your heart will beat one last time, where your mortal body and mind will cease to exist and an eternal file on your existence will close forever and be filed on an ethereal shelf.
No amount of begging, pleading or bargaining with the universe will alter this destiny. It is your fate and everyone else’s on the planet.
The questions pertaining to the other side are vast and perplexing. With panic embedded in our subconscious, we search endlessly and obsessively for answers to this impending doom.
What will I feel when I die? Where will I go? Will I go anywhere? Has my decisions in life determined where I end up in the afterlife? Thousands of these types of questions haunt the living daily throughout the course of their mortal life.
It may feel as though there are so many conflicting answers given by so many different sources.
One source may tell you that you are predestined to an environment, one potentially quite hot, based on your behaviors and obedience on earth. Another source says that when your corporeal body ceases to function that you are inevitably a three course meal for hungry worms. Yet another source indicates a soul’s freedom to choose an afterlife full of joy and light unending in love and happiness, overwhelmed with relief to be home again.
Which would you prefer? Which one truly, from your soul, feels like the truth? Only you know what feels like the true answer for yourself.
While on earth, we partake in a marathon of emotional hurts, grievous pains and redundant lessons of personal evolution. We sacrifice our time, efforts and energy on paying the bills, feeding the kids and staying alive. Born with a body with overactive pain receptors, heavy flesh and fragile tendencies, we brave the elements just to keep our sanity afloat.
Occasionally we experience bliss resembling heaven on earth. Holding a newborn baby, feeling a warm gentle breeze kiss your face on a beautiful spring day or staring with loving admiration at your chosen lover and soul mate.
Earth is uniquely and exquisitely designed to be the most elaborate and diverse spirituality school. Each instance and moment in your life is an opportunity to enhance your understanding and concept of the mystery that is you. Finding one’s true and ethereal self is the ultimate evolutionary destination.
When the school of life is at a close however, it can be a very sad and difficult concept for the remaining loved ones to comprehend. They cannot possibly grasp where you have gone. Your body remains, but there is no signs of your soul left in your eyes. No movement, no breath, no energy. The resilient aura that enveloped your body has perpetually vacated this now cold and motionless human vehicle.
If only your loved ones knew what you were really doing.
